From Kununurra I headed into the NT. Here I spent most of my time in Nitmiluk and Kakadu.

The Kimberley Community Whale Research Project is a land based survey of the humpback whale migration along the Kimberley Coast. This project was started as a response to Woodside’s desire to build a gas hub at James Price Point, a community driven initiative between the Goolarabooloo people, locals and environmentalists.

Is it weird I pulled over to take this photo as I completely taken by the golden light coming through the translucent skin of the ears on the remains of what used to be this rabbit's head. I did remove the rabbit from off the road after taking this photo so native carrion birds could safely consume out of harms way...

So here a little bit of love from the west side…stay tuned for more:)

Since I last posted I have moved from Perth up the coast and am currently in Exmouth.I have been stopped / travelled through Jurien Bay, Geraldton, Kalbarri, Denham, Monkey Mia, Cararvan, The Blowhole, Coral Bay and Exmouth thus far.

Some places have been just overnight stop offs and my way to destinations whereas others will have been more thoroughly explored.

I’m not massive on writing too much for this travel blog but will rather just let the images hopefully show the beauty of the places I have been and the reason I get so distracted as I drive along through this amazing state. Anecdotes may accompany some images, others may have a quote or a art reference.

Hope you enjoy if you do decide to have a gander at what the hell I am doing:)

only a little bit of love for now ( I need to keep my reserves up )
 xxx mw

Perth you gorgeous thing I must love you and leave you…I posting this whilst in Geraldton, on my way to Shark Bay / Carnavon.

I was pretty busy doing anything but taking photographs when I did I was always drawn to the water. These were taken near Fremantle Port.

More substantial posts to follow…

Love ya all,

Megs:)
